Getting the "about to expire" notice....

Hi there,

I have started to get the notice reminding me to download the newest release of PT3 and that my current version is about to expire. But I have version 3, beta 6 and I don't see a more recent version than that on the download page...will a new version be released before the expiration date of Beta 6? Thanks.

When I download/install the new version, do I need to do anything to save my existing database or make it available to the new version?

I don't know for certain, but I'd imagine you will need to rebuild a new database from the hand histories in order to benefit from fixes to the import routines / changes to the database design etc.

YUCK I hope not, I'm mainly a SNG player and to re-enter all those results would be a major bummer.

Changes arent that large. You should be fine until at least Beta 8 :)

What's with this expire notice. I have PT3 Beta 6 and its the same version in your download area. So why would I need to download or upgrade to the same version. Makes no sense are you trying to confuse us even more.
