help needed

Can any help me with some newb questions. i have just downloaded and instaled the new beta and never tried pokertracker before and need some basic starting help.

how can i get this thing started.

i have read t and done what it says but it dosnt autoimport any of my hands from pokerstars and i cant get it from pacific poker either:(

Pacific is not yet supported by the beta version.

Are you playing at 'stars, or observing?
Do you have stars writing hand histories to file?

no i dont have any previous hands to file.

but it auto dectected my pokerstars site so i just putted on autoimport.

is there anything else i have to do before it starts import hands when i play or ?

i must be doing something wrong , and i have never been wise when it comes to software

When I say "playing", I mean sat at a table and dealt in, not just watching.
Can you see the hand history files on your PC?

guess i have some 1000\s hands but i dont know witch folder they are located in my pokerstars folder

Pokerstars\HandHistory ?
This is what PT3 defaults to. If it's not there, then you must have told Pokerstars to write them somewhere else..

I found out i hadnt activated my hand save on my poker sites:P
