unable to connect to database

the password area is blank,, (were we supposed to be sent in with the beta download ?)
attempts to put in other passwords just brought up this..

"unable to connect to database, check your configuration"
this is poker tracker three beta sql version.
what do i do ?

You should enter the password that you created when PostgreSQL was installed. Do you not remember this password?

I can tell you that I don't recall putting in a password..
and i tried all my normal password variations.
so i need help to figure out what my first password was in the first place?
can i get it reset?

it is probably "dbpass" without quotes.

Otherwise, search this forum for setting authentication mode "trust" - to remove the need for valid passwords.
