Technical difficulties with the upgrade

Postby 098799 » Sun Jul 03, 2011 12:24 pm

Hi,

I've upgraded my subscription from the micro stakes one. Received new registration code, but I don't know where do I enter it. Do I need to reinstall PT?

Regards,

The registration code should be the same as the one you had previously, it has just now been upgraded to include higher stakes. After you restart PT3 you should have access to import all stakes.

This is not the case as I have used the discount prize offered by leggopoker.

In that case, if you edit the PokerTracker.cfg file located in C:\Program Files (x86)\PokerTracker 3\Data\Config\ and set it to your new registration code it should work properly once you restart PT3. The line in the file is called RegistrationCode I believe, so it should not be difficult to locate.

Thank you very much.

Also, there has been some hands that I played on .25/.5 prior to this purchase. Is there a way to import them? I play on ongame and there are no old hand histories stored in ...appdata/local/p5 folder.

OnGame have updated their software on most skins and the hand histories are now being written to C:\Users\yourname\P5JavaClientSettings\handhistory. Are there any hand history files there?
If so, you can update the Auto Import > OnGame Configuration info to import from this folder.

I'm afraid there are no files in the folder you've mentioned. Is it possible that poker tracker deleted them all after importing/failing to import due to license restrictions?

PokerTracker doesn't delete any files, but it will move them after Auto Import so that they don't have to be read again. By default they are moved to the PokerTracker 3\Processed folder.
