Sorry if this is a really stupid question, but where do I do a custom layout in PT3 for Party? Its driving me mad.

Right click on a stat and drag it where ever you want. Go to the PT3 icon at the top and choose save layout.

I have another question.....

For PT2 I used CTS's modified stats, nice neat italic ones with no bg. The new boxes make the table seem crammed and its harder to identify the key stats or idiots. Anyway to go back to how it was? Also, can I get rid of player names?

You can change the font of any of the stats to whatever you want. Do this by clicking on the PT icon and choose Configure Statistics. In the window that appears, click on the stat you want to edit and change the font in the Properties below. To remove a stats from a group, double-click it. We don't have transparent backgrounds yet, but setting translucency makes the stats less intrusive.
