For a new PC for PT3, with 6 to 8 gaming tables ((HUD: 90 statistics/player 6 max) and 100 Hands per minute in datamining :

Vista 64bit or Vista 32bit ?

Dual Core 3Ghz or Quad Core 2,66Ghz ?

Yes, PokerTracker 3 is multi-threaded and takes full advantage of multiple processors :)

Vista 64bit or 32bit, does not really matter. The only difference with x64 is that you can add more than 4GB of RAM to your computer. So if you are using less than 4GB (which is more than sufficient) it doesn't matter.

Both of these processors would be excellent choices. Obviously, the quad core would be the better choice as its faster (and more expensive) ;)
