DB location

DB location

where are teh DB 's located? i dont see them in c: / ... / PT3 /

also, is all the information contained within one file?

No, postgres stores your databases in lots of random files - there is no way to access these manually.
Backup and restore functionality will no-doubt be added at some point.

wow thats frustrating......... so if i wanted to move my DB to another computer..........???

how would i do that?

Well, these random files are located under your postgresql/data directory but just copying them would probably not help at all. PT3 hasn't yet added backup/restore options, but you should be able to backup your database by using PgAdmin (start->programs->postgresql->pgAdmin III) and then connect to your database, right click the database name and select backup. After that you should be able to use that backup and restore it on another computer, and then make PT3 use that database by checking "this database already exists" when you add a database with the same name. I haven't tried it myself but I'm guessing that it should work at least.

Another method that definitely would work is if you export everything out of your current database and then import it to a database on the other computer. Easier method but might take longer time.
