It worked. Thanks so much! Before this problem occurred, it was importing "duplicate" hands from I don't know where. I've seen post elsewhere on this forum and I don't understand the instructions. Also, I've played a couple of tournaments since I had the problem with poker tracker. Should I start with a manual import? From a file or a directory?

If you have a lot of hands, a manual import will be quicker than auto-importing, but if they are in your 'normal' folder, make sure you move them after you import them, or the next time you start auto-import it will read all the files again.
..or if you don't have many new hands you could just start auto-import and let it sort it out.

A new problem that occurred twice today: With multiple tables open, PokerTracker stopped auto-importing hands and in place of the hands, it displayed messages such as these: "Connection Lost to Database: PT3 Beta DB 1 (Line #1045). It then repeats that message, except with different line numbers.

Try manually restarting the PostgreSQL server:

Start->Programs->PostgreSQL->Stop Service
Then Start->Programs->PostgreSQL->Start Service

If this happens again, prior to restarting the PostgreSQL service, please send us the PokerTracker.log file (located in your main PokerTracker 3 directory) via the Support system so that we can look into why your connection was dropped.

Best regards,
