Postby sharky666 » Mon Feb 09, 2009 12:49 pm

I downloaded postgres 8.3 when I purchased holdem manager. I then bought poker tracker 3 and postgres is asking for the password again which i do not know. It is also telling me to check my configuration. i uninstalled then reinstalled and the same problem is occurring.thanks

The default values are:
Server: localhost
Port: 5432
User: postgres
Password: dbpass

If this password does not work for you, you can disable password authentication by following the directions of this tutorial.

Did you install PostgreSQL? Click Start --> Programs --> PostgreSQL --> Start Services to start the PostgreSQL service. If you don't see the "Start Services" link or the PostgreSQL folder then you don't have PostgreSQL installed and you will need to download and install PokerTracker 3 Build 4 with PostgreSQL from our download page.

The PT3 HUD can work without the cache it's just markedly slower. When you're done playing, run the full housekeeping and you shouldn't get that message again unless you add new statistics to your HUD.
