Updates

I am using PostgreSQL 8.3, and I have received notices of newer versions and updates that are available. Should I be installing these?

Which version are you running? The older your version is the more likely it is that it's worth your time to upgrade. So long as you're running an 8.3.x version, the upgrade should be quick and painless, and it can't hurt. If you're running 8.3.5 or greater though the 8.3.7 upgrade that just came out doesn't seem to have any major fixes or changes that will be that useful for PT3, as far as I can tell.
