Upgraded to 8.4; Created new DB; PT3 stuck on splash screen?

I read that it does this as it's updating the cache, etc?

Is this correct?

Should i let it run until the whole application finally pops up?

I'd just like to know if its a waste of time to let it run or whether i need to try something else.

I reverted to 30.5 due to the release notes on the 30.7(?) post.

Try upgrading to Beta 30.8 - that should fix the cache update problem when Beta 30.7 started.
