Can I transfer data from PT2 to PT3?
If so how can I do it?
After downloading PT3 today I expected a shortcut on my desktop; there is none.

There should be a PT3 shortcut on your desktop. What operating system are you using?

Is your PT2 database a PostgreSQL database or the default Access database?

If its PostgreSQL, you can convert it in PT3 via Database->Convert->Convert at PokerTracker 2 Database

If its an Access database, in PT2 go Utilities->Export Hand Histories to File. Once completed, manually import all of these hand histories into PT3.
