Strange Postgre install issue
Posted: Tue May 06, 2008 2:56 pmI'm attempting to migrate from Access to Postgre but it's proving difficult. I can install Postgre without a problem but when I reboot after installation Windows just hangs and doesn't load my desktop/start menu etc. I have to CTRL+ALT+DEL and run msconfig in order to set it to load in safemode and then rollback to before Postgre was installed, then all is fine again. Any ideas what's going on here?
