Cash Hands stats / Tournament Hands stats?

Postby g_a_quintas » Mon Mar 30, 2009 10:02 pm

I'm using "Hands" Statistics on my Cash games and Tourmanent games Reportings and HUD, what I noticed is a big difference on how PT3 computes between these Cash Hands Stats and Tournament Hands Stats.

Please explain how you came up with those computations for Cash Hands Statistics and Tournament Hands Statistics.

Do you mean the actual "Hands" stat? That is separate for cash and tournments - the cash version is how many cash hands the player has played, and the tournament version is how many tournament hands they have played. It isn't "computed" differently.

Yes, it is the "Hands" stats. What I noticed in my PT3 is that I have a very huge Hands stats in my tournament which I believe is not true. I mostly play cash game and I have atleast 30,000 hands but I do not believe that I have more than 200,000 hands on my tournament sessions.

As I said I Played almost 95% cash game this year and last year. This database I'm using is about 5 months old only.

If you look in the Tournaments > Tournaments tab do you see a lot of tournaments that you didn't play? Maybe some sessions that were imported incorrectly? There were some issues fixed over the last few months where hands might have been imported as the wrong type.
You might want to try creating a new database and re-importing all your hands and see if it is all correct then.
