Custom Stats in the Depository not working?

I downloaded a few of these and added them into a pop for my HUD.
I logged on stars and fired up a couple of tables with some regulars whom I have a decent size sample on to test it out.

The stats I added were 3bet preflop and cbet flop, and call preflop 3bet and fold to cbet. I added a couple of others but these ones seemed quite popular in the depository with plenty of votes that I think they should be working and it's probably something on my end.

When I bring up the pop up for a specific player it shows no values, unless I set show times/opportunities to true, in which case it just displays a 0 but a larger one than the regular font. I suspect that this is some sort of scripting symbol but please forgive my ignorance here as I really don't have any experience with that sort of thing.

I've tried reading through some links posted by whiterider in other threads and find myself getting more confused. I don't want to learn how to build custom stats but would just like to be able to get the ones that I have working.

Did you update the cache after importing the stat? If you didn't, PT3 will need to calculate the stat from scratch would could end up looking blank while PT3 is calculating.

I didn't. Sounds like that can be my problem.

Ok I updated the cache and it still isn't working.
Also, I seem to be having trouble finding stats in the configure hud window. They are in the configure stats window but when I go to add them in to my hud they aren't there. There is a lot of them missing. Any suggestions?

You need to stop/restart auto import (or the HUD at least) for the new stats to be available.
Are the stats in Holdem Cash Player Statistics section (they need to be to be used in the HUD, or the tournament equivalent section)?
Are you playing at cash tables?

Yes I was sitting in cash hands. I had samples of over 3k hands with some of the players.
I opened up PT3 this morning and I couldn't find any of the stats that I imported from the depository.
I reimported them, and voila - they were there. After importing, is there some kind of save that needs to be done?

One of the stats that I imported which is Flop Donk imported into Hold'em Cash Hand section. I believe it is supposed to be a player stat. Is there a way to change the category? I was looking in the configure stats window and couldn't figure it out myself.

The stats that I have put in my HUD are still not working.

They are '3bet preflop and cbet flop', 'call preflop 3bet and fold to cbet', and 'donk flop and fold to raise'.

In the HUD configuration, I set show times/opportunities to true because these numbers take longer to converge and thought this would be more useful to me. When I do this, it just shows a large zero ( not a regular 0 but one taller and skinnier... i don't know how to type one on my keyboard). If i set this to false, it just shows nothing. I don't understand this because I tested it with players at the tables whom I had fairly large samples on, who also 3bet a significant amount of the time so there should be some sort of value there, unless I've done something wrong.

After you import you need to click Apply, not Cancel. If you click Cancel the changes will be undone.

It sounds like you want Flop Donk Percentage, not Flop Donk.

I'll take a look at the stats you're talking about in a bit and see if there's a problem with them; once you've updated the cache they should be working if they're visible.

Ok thanks kraada. I figured out that I have to click apply on my own. As far as the flop donk, perhaps I do have the wrong stat. I guess that stat refers to Hold'em cash hands where somebody donked the flop, and not a percentage of times that a particular player donks the flop.

The Donk Flop and fold to raise is a Hold'em Cash player stat though and I do have it on my HUD though it only displays that 0 sign that I previously mentioned that looks like a larger 0. Any idea what that is?

I really think that the custom stats that I'm trying to add will help me with certain decisions a lot since I'm pretty much a 24 tabling robot. Hopefully I can find out what I need to do to make these stats work properly.

Are you sure it's not just a zero in a different font?
That stat works fine for me.

I'm using the same font size style for all the stats in the pop up. I have W$@SD when bet/raised and when called river in there and there is no problem with the font.

For each stat I set show times/opportunities to false and it no longer shows that symbol. 3bet preflop and cbet flop is now working. It displays as a percentage and will show NA if an opportunity hasn't come up yet.

"Call 3bet preflop and fold to cbet", and "3bet preflop and fold to 4bet" show nothing. I've double checked the font callers and that isn't the problem. I've checked this on players that I have over 5k hands on.
