Raised First In

Postby jyeager » Mon Feb 22, 2010 1:45 pm

I was looking for a stat that would indicate how often a player open limps. I thought RFI, (raised first in) would convey that info, as obv the percentage that a player doesn't RFI should be the percentage that they limp first in. So I added RFI to the player stats under the general tab. My RFI over the 17k hand sample was 21.06!!! Since the only time I open limp is occasionally w/ AA or KK from EP, I couldn't understand how this stat could be accurate. So I went to the guides/how to section to read up on exactly what RFI was and was surprised to see that it wasn't there! (HTML version).

So I'm stuck. Is there a stat that can indicate how frequently a player open limps?

Thanks!

I did find the stat RFI in the PDF version. And I now see why it doensn't tell my what I need to know, as it is a reflection of the % of times a player raises when they have the opportunity to open the pot. What I really need then is the stat LFI, limped first in.

How would I go about finding or creating LFI?

Thanks!

There are several limp stats in the repository - I'm not sure LFI is one of them, to be honest, but there's a good tutorial on building limp related stats in the Tutorial: Using Custom Statistics and Reports.

There is a stat called "Limped First In" in the repository, although I haven't actually tried it myself it's a pretty simple stat so I imagine it's ok.
