cnt_win_when_p_call

Postby raph156 » Thu Feb 25, 2010 5:01 pm

Hello,

sum( if[ (holdem_hand_player_statistics.cnt_p_call > 0) and (holdem_hand_player_statistics.flg_won_hand), 1, 0])

Just to make sur thise expression considere all pre flop call.
So i don't need to add: if[ ( holdem_hand_player_statistics.enum_p_raise_action='C') and (holdem_hand_player_statistics.flg_won_hand), 1, 0]

Thanks in advance for your help.

The first expression counts any preflop calls, whether they're limps or calling of preflop raises. If you did your second one instead it would only be times you called the first raise you faced and that raise was neither a 3bet nor a 4bet.

So, holdem_hand_player_statistics. cnt_p_call.... counts calls of a raise also.

Is there anyway of knowing that without someone telling us?

I know about the Database_Schema.pdf.. But that doesn't show the actual formula used. And it doesn't make it clear, to me, whether it includes calling raises or even if you call and then call again whether that might be considered calling twice.

In other words, is there anywere to look at the actual rules that apply to input for the various table columns?

The actual rules are not publicly available.

Anything that references "call" refers to any call, whether it's calling by limping, calling a raise, calling a 3bet, etc. Anything that references "bet" is true when a player opens the pot on a postflop street by putting money in. A raise is anytime there is previously a bet out there (or the blinds) and the player then raises the pot. A 3bet is a raise of a raise. A 4bet is a raise of a 3bet or a raise of a 4bet.

That should be all of the basic ones are there any others you want an explanation for?
