Want to run Reports-->HoldemCashHand against all hands

e.g. I have a Holdem Cash Hand report with Limit/Site/Pot/Rake/Player.
THis produces this report against the selected player.
However, I would like to run this against all the players (e.g. produce the report on every hand in the DB)

Is this possible?

Uncheck the "Filter on Active Player" box in the blue Filters section and then the report will run on all players.

However, even on my small DB with a beefy PC, the query runs out of memory.

Not sure if anyone can help: I would eventually like to get summary statistics for all the major sites at various stakes (e.g. average pot size, rake etc). Is there some other way I could do this?

Yes, you could do that in the Holdem Cash Player Statistics section.

If you add in any stats there and leave out the Player statistic and uncheck Filter on Active Player you'll get summary data for all hands for whatever stats you display (VP$IP, Rake, etc.)

I'm planning on running such a query against a huge mined DB (not yet constructed) containing years of mined data (about 500gb HEM database). Any Ideas if this is going to run in an orderly fashion, or will it just grind to a halt?

Make sure the cache is up to date and it should finish. Expect the cache update process to take quite a while though.

I don't know how many hands are in a 500G HEM database, but I do know that in the latest beta for me creating the cache on a 15M hand database took about 36 hours. Once the cache is built the reports should actually run pretty quickly in that section since it can use the cache. It will still take some time, and how much will depend on the exact report you're running.

One last Q: I cant get the "pot" stat in Holdem Cash Player Statistics.... Is there any way I can get the average pot size? Would be most useful.

fwiw, I've been pretty impressed with PT after a long hiatus (I was kinda forced to switch to HEM in the early days). May have to switch back for a bit :D

Average final pot size over all hands for a player you could do.

Create the following column in the Holdem Cash Player Statistics section (in Configure --> Configure Statistics):

amt_total_pot: sum(holdem_hand_summary.amt_pot)

Then on the Stats tab create the stat as (amt_total_pot / cnt_hands). The resulting value will be in dollars.
