Filters to columm

Postby AlexV » Sat Sep 25, 2010 7:48 am

Hi,

With somes friends, i've develop a leak finder method.

For exemple, for preflop game, i built 16 filters, for all the different situations we have to deal with and then i look at the BB/hands.

So i end up with a pie graph (that we call a Camenberg graph in my country where we eat a lot of cheese ;) ), with all the preflop Poker situations and the % of my winnings that came from them.

Examples of situations :
- I call a PFR in position : 10%
- I raise, Villain 3bet, i fold,
...

I want to do the same for Flop, Turn and River.

It's just very long to apply thoses filters to several players.

Moreover, i can't export filters from one DB to another. (i've read the post about it, but it's not working).

My question is simple. How to a create a statistic from a filter ? Is there a shortcut or should I spend a lot of time figuring out how to say in SQL (in a columm) "raise preflop, villain call, i play a flop in position" and stuff like that.

thanks for help.

There isn't a way to generate a stat from a filter, but if you need help working out the expressions you need we'll be happy to help you.
Please pick a stat you'd like to build and we'll talk you through it.

Thanks for offering your help.

I will need for each situations :
1 : number of hands played in this particular situation ;
2 : BB/hands : number of Big Bet won per one hand played in this particular situation.

1 seems easy to get : sum ( IF[condition;1;0] )

But i have trouble for number 2. I just don't know where to start.

Here's an example to work on :
After making this one, i should be enable to do the others by myself.

Example : Hero raises preflop and won preflop (single raise, no 3bet, no 4bet) excluded Attempted to steal success (wich is an other situation).
The filters i used for this situation are :
- Preflop Any raise
- Not "3bet"
- Not "4bet"
- No "Saw Flop"
- Won
- No "Attempted to steal and won"

Any help to "unlock" me will be appreciate.

For your example, you want two columns:

(1) sum(if[holdem_hand_player_statistics.cnt_p_raise > 0 and not(holdem_hand_player_statistics.flg_p_3bet or holdem_hand_player_statistics.flg_p_4bet) and not(holdem_hand_player_statistics.flg_f_saw) and holdem_hand_player_statistics.flg_won_hand and not(holdem_hand_player_statistics.flg_steal_att), 1, 0])

(2) sum(if[holdem_hand_player_statistics.cnt_p_raise > 0 and not(holdem_hand_player_statistics.flg_p_3bet or holdem_hand_player_statistics.flg_p_4bet) and not(holdem_hand_player_statistics.flg_f_saw) and holdem_hand_player_statistics.flg_won_hand and not(holdem_hand_player_statistics.flg_steal_att), holdem_hand_player_statistics.amt_won / holdem_limit.amt_bb, 0])

(1) is the same one you wanted for your first part, but it's required for the second part as well. (2) will give you the total amount won in big blinds (not big bets, multiply by 2 if you want big bets), divide that by the value of (1) and that will give you the average per hand that you won in this situation.
