position vs position stats

I've been trying to construct a stat that shows actions taken against a certain position from a certain position (how often a player 3bets from the BTN against a MP open) but can't, for the life of me, figure out how it's done. I've been reading through the tutorials but can't find anything that attacks this particular subject (or maybe I'm just totally dense). Is this sort of statistic possible to build (I'm assuming it is, but I'm a total noob and keep getting "not valid SQL errors" when I try dinking around with it on my own)? Honestly, I can't even get it to create a column just for facing a UTG open from a specific position...so my assumption is that it's just me. Thanks for any help in advance.

That's not a stat that's possible to accurately build at this point.
