just switched to ftp and hud lags my system down

Postby demon102 » Tue Jun 03, 2008 8:05 pm

I used to play at stars and pahud worked fine while playing there, now I play at ftp and pahud lags my comp down where I can barely even play if I am play more then 3 tables. I can 12 table just fine on ftp without pahud but as soon as I open the hud it all gets freezed up. Ive already created a cache for pahud what else can I do about this?

I think I might be able to get it to work If I dont import hands while I am playing. The most important thing I need is to find out how to stop the stats from refreshing which it does even when Im not importing any hands. How can I get it so its stops refreshing thing hand?

I got it as good as I can and my cpu usage hovers at 35% without a ton of cpu spikes like it used to so thats pretty decent although I havent played any hands yet just observed. I basically put 0s for all of the refresh rates, turned on flicker free and standard drawing and dont use pt while having ftp plus hud open.

I have the same problem and so I cant play more than 2 tables without the palyer's stats. Also, I had to create another account on the forum cause they didn't had my email address in the database which is kinda weird cause I only have 1 email and I posted in the past in the forum.

So, is it possible to fix the problem for FTP ?

Are you using the latest 1.19.6 version?

Enable logging, reproduce the problem, and send the PAHud.log file via the Support system so that we can review your configurations and troubleshoot the issue.

Ok, so I am in C:\Program Files\PokerAce Hud\ and I dont see any .log file. Btw, enable logging as always been checked.

Open "PAHud.cfg" in Notepad.
Change the line "Logging=N" to "Logging=Y".

Is this set to Y?

Do you have file extensions disabled? Do you see .xyz extensions on any files?
If not, the file is probably listed as something like "PAHud (text document)".

Ok, I finally found it and I changed it to Y. Gonna try it later on today and will post to let you know if it worked.
