PT2 player notes

Question is focused on Stars, since not able to import FT notes.

When I edit player notes, say from within the Replayer, where is that edited note stored. I have looked at stars_notes.txt in the PT directory, but that note remains as it was prior to my editing in the replayer.
I ask this because to use the PT2 export of notes takes hours to run, and makes the computer useless because of high resource usage.

I use SyncToy from MS to synch files that are many times larger than any player notes file and it does it in less than 15 seconds.
So where I'm going with this is I want to be able to synch the file in PT2 with the PS notes file, and w/o that agonizing Notes Export in PT2.

Can you please explain where the note file is in PT2?

There is no notes file in PT2, the notes are stored in a field in the PLAYERS table in the database. If you make a note in PT then the only way to export it to the Stars notes file is to use the export function.
