pt newinstallation, can i use the old postgres dbs?

hi

i've got a prob. pt2 got deletet by a windows system recovery, but it seems as if the postgres dbs would still be there, because the postgres-folder has still about 10gb.

is it possible to use this old databases after reinstalling pt2 and how?

If that's the case you should be able to re-enter your PostgreSQL settings on the Utilities > PostgreSQL Settings window and then reconfigure the PostgreSQL db's using the File > Maintain Database Names window.

Click the Add button, enter a description and in the last field choose "Select existing PostgreSQL database" from the list. Make this db the "Dflt" database then click OK to save the changes. Then close and reopen PT to begin using the PostgreSQL database again.
