Having trouble configuring...

I used pt2 for years on my old computer.
I recently got a new machine and have gotten pt2 loaded (along with PAHud)
I want to create a new database to use with new hands only on full tilt.
I directed Full tilt to write the hand histories to a folder on my desktop created for that purpose.
I created a new database called "full tilt".
Now my hand histories are writing to the folder on my desktop, but they are not read by PT2. In other words, I have no ring game history and when the hud runs it doesn't have any data to read so it doesn't show anything.
What am I doing wrong?
