I just got back in to online poker from what i understand ABS and UB merged. To import from both site I have to use Absolute as the auto import function and normal import function!?

People seem to be concerned with players with the same name. Is it my understanding that the stats will still accumulate under that name from both sites? you just wont be able to tell if some one plays differently at either site until the auto alias is made?

The Absolute importing remains unchanged.

All players will be imported with "ABS" as their site. I don't know what Cereus has done with players that might have had the same names on Absolute and UB. I assume they made people change their screen names if this was the case as they don't allow players to have the same s/n that I'm aware of.

as I said I just got back into playing online. I was thinking the UB ABS merger was just the companies merging. Thats not true is it. Its two different ways to play at the same place?

I believe, but I'm not sure, that players from UB and ABS can be playing at the same table now, each with their own interface. If their are duplicate names, then they would all combine under one name in PT and thus the auto-rating would be done on all the stats for that name, not separately.

After the UB/AP merger if you had the same user name on both sites you had to change. I had to. You can only have one poker client open-either UB or AP but not both. The sofware won't allow it, so you can only play on one site at a time. this prevents you from playing at the same table.
