Importing into two databases same site (ongame)

Postby Checkov » Wed Apr 02, 2008 6:40 pm

Is this possible? I want to be able to import my mined hands into one database, and my own hands into another one. I can only open up one import window for ongame which means I can't run auto imports for both (into separate databases) while playing.

No, you wouldn't be able to do this at the same time. You would have to only be importing observed hands when you weren't playing so that you could pick the database you wanted the hands to go into.

EDIT: Wait a second...how are you getting observed hands from Ongame? Are these hands in a text file or are they in a SQLite database file?

OK, it's possible to do this but just be careful that you select different databases.

You can open 2 instances of PT. One could be used to read from your own Ongame db file and the other could be setup to read from the observed SQLite db file. Just make sure you use the Open Database window on the instance you want to import observed hands with and choose the observed hands db then when you open the Ongame auto-import window with that instance select the observed hands database.

If you start getting db errors it's going to be because both instances are trying to import into the same database.
