ERROR: relation "session" does not exist ...

Hi,

Just started getting this postgresql error when using PT v2.17.04g.

I went back through 5 different backups of the database and, again, this error only started appearing today, and retored them and error would start popping up and, also, noticed a similar message when I attempted to re-cluster the dbases.

Postings at postgresql.com seem to refer to an "app" error, seemed to be 2 servers involved in each posting and, I only use my desktop.

Also, error message only occurs at a table I am actually playing at. PTv2 utility error message report of:

"Database Error - Error selected the max id from the SESSION table. 7 - SQLSTATE = 42P01
ERROR: relation "session" does not exist;
Error while executing the query"

Also, error message notation in auto-import window =

"Import Finished With Errors - The import finished but there were errors. Open the Utilities/Error Log Display/Maintenance window to see the errors - 14 file(s) read - 0 new hand(s) were imported."


Ideas? Suggestions?

If the "session" table is missing then it sounds like the database is corrupted. Look at the database using pgAdmin. Do you see a table called "session" in the list of PT2 databases?

Yes, under the troubled dbase there is a "session" table but the various fields listed contain nothing, all showing '(0)' whereas other dbases have multiple entries such as "columns (24)" and so on ....

So you are saying that all your backups of this same database produce the same results...no columns for this table? And all your other databases are OK?
