Hello,

i has a problem with PT. ptrack.mdb is untraceable. I had install and configure the trial version of PAH and after i had this message...
I don't know why.

I try to made this
"1. Start / Settings / Control Panel / ODBC Data Sources or if you use XP or
greater Start / Settings / Control Panel / Administrative Tools / ODBC Data
Sources

2. On the window that opens, click the System DSN tab.

3. Click on the entry PTRACK and click the "Configure..." button.

4. Click the "Repair..." button on the next window.

5. On the next window that pops up, ptrack.mdb should be highlighted but if it's not, select it and click ok."

But in 5) when i click on ok i had a window with this message:"file untraceable"...

TY

You mean it says the file doesn't exist?
Are you using Vista on this computer?

Go to the c:\program files\poker tracker v2 folder.
Is there a file called ptrack_backup.mdb there? If so, what is the date/time and size of the file?

Then click the Compatibility Files link/button at the top of the explorer window. In this folder, do you see a ptrack.mdb and/or ptrack_backup.mdb file? Is so, what are the date/times and sizes on them?

Also, you need to make sure to always run PT as administrator as detailed at the top of the download page...

In the c:\program files\poker tracker v2 folder, rename the ptrack_backup.mdb file to ptrack.mdb

[quote56h]I run PT as administrator[/quote56h]

You must not have done this all the time or there wouldn't be any of these files in the compatibility files folder. The only time these get put there is when you aren't running as administrator.

Thank you so much.

Why i had this problem? Is it because i had install PAH or not? Because actually i had desinstall my trial version but i would like to play with this software.

It's probably caused because you compacted the database while you weren't running the program as administrator. PAH wouldn't have caused this kind of problem.
