New database

Is it possible to create a new database? I'd like to start from scratch.

Open the File > Maintain Database Names window.
Click the Add button.
Enter a new description, check the "Dflt" box and then in the last field choose "Create new empty Access database" from the dropdown list.
Then click the OK button.
THEN CLOSE AND REOPEN PT to begin importing into the new database.
