wrong results - ipoker

Postby lauwejan » Tue May 20, 2008 6:30 pm

all the imported hand histories seem messed up

I noticed this when pokertracker showed me a huge winning session, which was in fact a small winning session

hh's are from ipoker, I did notice a change in the ipoker software, but pokertracker hadn't notified me that there was a new update released, so maybe that's why something went wrong?

how can I fix this?

I have the same problem and still have it after installing the patch. I had version 2.17.01 and now I have 2.17.02.
In todays result its a difference of $477, I play NL $200. I am sure about the difference because I have it written down in two playses.
I purged my sessions from today and imported the hands again after installing the patch but same result.

Did you get any errors importing the files that some hands didn't load because of formatting errors?

If you think the data is wrong then you will have to check the games for the session. Double-click on the session that you say doesn't have the right numbers on the Session Notes tab.

Then go to the Game Notes tab and click the Get All button.

Sort the data so that the first game # from the session is at the top.

Now, look at the starting chip count and the amount won/lost in this hand. Add (or subtract if you lost $) that amount won to the starting chip count for that hand. Now go to the next hand in the list. Your starting chip count for that hand should match the number you just calculated. If it doesn't then there is either a hand missing in between or the numbers are off somehow. If you find a discrepancy, email me the XML hand history file associated with this session and I'll look at it. Email it to support at pokertracker dot com.

No errors at all and I have no filters on in pokertracker at all. The problem is that I am 16 tabling full ring and that would take forever to go through the hands. But all the big pots I can remember is there so there should be a lot of hands missing.
I play pretty tight when playing this many tables and did not have many big pots at all today thats why I think that it's not only one or two hands missing. I also had some difference a couple of day ago but not this much and then I also got a error message so I didn't bother about it.

The only way to figure out what is wrong is to check the stats like this. I don't have any other iPoker users saying their numbers are off with the latest patch. If you can't tell me what sessions are supposedly incorrect then I have no way of being able to see what the issue is.

Ok, thanks for the help. Maybe I will go through all the hands because I'm really curious on what is wrong. I do remember one strange thing that happened during the session. All of the sudden all the tables freezes and some message says that carlospoker must be shut down. And it closes automaticly and I have to restart the program. Shouln't I get errors when I import the hands after a thing like that happens?

More likely, the hand you were in at the time wouldn't be recorded which could explain if hands are missing.

Found something strange. Ipoker have a option to look at the history for all the cashtable sessions. If I check a specific table in Ipoker ("Kargat") I started playing on that table 22:19:24 and the duration is 04:07. In pokertracker I started playing on that same table 22:31 and stopped 01:24 wich is less than 3 hours? So the longest playtime for maybe 7-6 tables in ipokerhistory is 4 hours or more but in pt no more than 3.

Yes but the difference in results between pt and my actual result seems to big (more than 2 buyins) . I was not upset with carlopoker closing because I were not in any big pots at the time so if some hands went lost there it still shouldn't differ that much.
