ok
->I somehow want to play poker on my laptop while using the same databse to live-import (and show stats with HUD)) I am right now using on my main DESKTOP PC.
-> I do NOT want to make a copy of my databse for the HUD data and import all the hands played on the laptop manually.
--> (a friend of mine made this somehow work so I'm sure it does) So I bought an external harddrive and tried the following:

I already do own a version of Pokertracker 2 (Holdem) with the product ID xxxxxx and now want to install pokertracker on an extern harddrive to be able to play with my laptop and/or my desktop PC.
The new product ID is xxxxxxx.
I also want to install PAHud on this harddrive and therefore need a reg code for it too.
Thank you very much!

You cannot install the program on an external drive and use it on multiple computers. That's not the way it works. It has to be installed on the computer it's being used on and you can get a code to register 2 computers.

You're right. It doesn't work. I installed Pokertracker on the EH (external harddrive) plugged into my PC. If I plug it into my LAPTOP some strange error messages occur and it shuts down (the PT version on the EH)
NOW, if EH is not plugged into my PC even my normally installed version of PT on my harddrives do mess up and the following message comes: (translated into english)
'H: (my EH name)\Poker Tracker V2"\ptregv2.mdb' is not a valid path. Make sure that the path is typed in correctly and that youre connected with the server, the file is on.
So I have 2 problems:
1. How to fix the problem with my PC Pokertracker version?
2. How to make my PC + LAPTOP somehow use the same databse while live importing?
(to 2.: My guess is: I have to install PT regularly on my LAPTOP harddrive, send u the ID, get a new reg key. Also install POSTGRESQL on my LAPTOP. THEN: somehow place my databses on the external harddrive and configure both Pokertracker version in such a manner that they both use the databases on the external harddrive, given its plugged in. right???? :( )
THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
EDIT: I have just found out, that my PC version of Pokertracker got somehow fcked up by this installation-crap-something I produced by trying to install it on my EH and now it is not longer registered! If I open the 'about' window it says that....... o_0 (sorry for being so n00bish about how programs and pc's work)
