There is no Auto-Rate in PT4?

We are replacing auto rate with something much more powerful. It was a late-in-the-game decision, so we didn't want to let it hold up the initial beta launch. We plan on making it available soon after the new year.

I was about to post about this as well. So you are saying there will be something to mark and rate players right?

Yes, and our new method will be more powerful and flexible than PT3's auto rate.

Not sure what you have in mind obviously but since every player has its own way of tagging player I would prefer something like HM where you can assign a player your own colour. Still importing hands so I did not test the HUD yet but is there a chance we can or will be able to colourcode players individually. Just give us 8-10 different colours and a plain little box like the note box so we can use the system we want...at least thats what I would prefer.

You can already assign players colors via the note window - if you click on the player's note icon you can set the color from the black box next to the player's name.

There are 8 color options there for you to choose from.

What we have planned to replace AutoRate is even more powerful than this :)

Ok...as I said..havent checked out too much with the HUD yet cause I want to have at least two month of play in my DB before I do anything else...but nice to read that its already possible...thankx

Do you have to let the new auto rate thing run, like with PT3 you have to click rate players ?

The autorate replacement functionality is not yet available, so there isn't anything (yet) to let run.
